Yo people.  I got internet service…and frankly life is a little hollow without this blog.  So here’s whats up.  I’m working down here in the British Virgin Islands (SCUBA diving and boat stuff…) and as some of you may be aware, people who have not been introduced to electronic music are generally fairly wary of it, complaining of its repetitiveness, lack of musical value, and a whole host of other negative attributes.  But in reality, they have heard Sandstorm and Cascada and think that’s enough to convince them that “techno” is bad.  So I have some major persuading to do…  there is hope.  Bassnectar, a personal favorite, bridges gaps.  He’s chilled out enough for people to feel comfortable, yet his songs have a tendency to get fucking nuts.  I played this the other day on the boat, and I think we have some new lovers… maybe…they might be shy still… I’m posting the Ghislain Poirer remix; get over to beatport to buy the original.  SO worth it.
