What up world.  The guys over at Subdivision Bass, The Squire of Gothos, Thrills, and Jayou’s label, sent over a new promo pack for their new guy, Nate Day, including a free 320 mp3 and a sick mix, if I do say so myself.  They were even nice enough to write up a nice bio, see below.  Subdivision has remained consistent in my eyes, always signing  fresh talent.  Keep your eyes peeled for some upcoming news on The Squire of Gothos.  Looks like they’ve got an upcoming EP that is “next level stuff.”  Can’t wait.  Check out Nate Day below!

BIO

Nate started his career with the Philadelphia drum and bass crew Substitution. He has shared stages with powerhouse drum and bass acts including Goldie, DJ Marky, DJ Zinc, SS and J Majik.  Leaving Philadelphia for Los Angeles in 2008, Nate quickly made a name for himself by playing all over the LA circuit including DJ AM and Steve Aoki’s Banana Split and The Do Over. Nate have his  first East Coast tour and first trip to Europe during this year. However, 2009 is proving to be a break out year.  Nate’s  production is already being played by the likes of DJ AM,  Thee Mike B, and Fools Gold artist Sammy Bananas as well as being featured on mixes by DJ Fashen and Mr. White.  Most recently Nate has been remixing for Iceland’s Steed Lord, as well as working with long time friends and fellow drum and bass veterans, Mental Sharp. As a promoter Nate’s “Loose” parties gained attention by having artsists like Diplo, The Cool Kids, Tittsworth, LA Riots and the Gaslamp Killer play in some of the most intimate and underground spots in LA.  His new party, “More On The Floor”, is already proving to top “Loose”. Nate Day is more than just a DJ/producer – he is a performer, whose stage presence and energy transcends his genre bending sets.
Nate will be touring the U.S. in the coming months, and interested promoters may contact: management@subdivisionbass.com to book performances.
