can i stand next to your fire
New dubstep today, coming from South African duo Biscope. The first track, “Fire”, begins with, as they put it, “stereotypical dubstep basslines and beats”, but quickly turns into a bit more than that, morphing into quite a thumper once the 8-bit synths come in. They also included a remix of Ben E King’s classic “Stand By Me”, which is pretty dope but I was reluctant to post as it samples “Night”, which is more or less the dubstep equivalent of another “In For The Kill” remix. I’m posting it, however, as I think they managed to avoid being cliché, and I’d definitely say it’s worth a listen. It doesn’t really start kickin’ until the around 3 minutes, and the real goodness isn’t until around 4, so let it play, yo. Probably not going to change your life, but some solid tunes nonetheless, and after you listen show Biscope some support up on Juno.

wow! i loved both!
