deepness

Jack Beats has to be one of the most oft-blogged about artists here at Squeegie and for good reason: they fucking rock. I saw them with Orpheus, Macgregor, and others at Hard NYC where they absolutely destroyed. During the show they played a song that has eluded me and others for so long, a remix they’d done of TC‘s ‘Deep’. It was supposed to be released a while back along with their re-edit of Caspa‘s remix of TC’s ‘Where’s My Money’. Sadly, these songs never really saw the light of day in any real releases besides compilations. With that in mind, Kissy Sell Out just did his ‘Xmas Blowout’ for Mixmag and in the compilation one can find this elusive Jack Beats remix. Mind you, it is being mixed in and out, is slowed down, etc. so it is far from a perfect track. But shit, something’s better than nothing, eh?

that’d be “eluded”. sorry. english stickler.

November 28th, 2009 at 21:16I had completely forgotten about the original for about a year (it was such a big tune blud, got quite a bit of radioplay on radio 1)until i saw this post. good remix but it’s a shame you don’t get to hear much of it. Damn man thanks for reminding about it, going back on my ipod stat.
November 30th, 2009 at 07:58If I remember correctly from their myspace, Jack Beats is scheduled to release an album in 2010. It’s possible that this will be on there? *cross fingers*
November 30th, 2009 at 13:47Yeah seriously, the last time I heard the original was on Pendulum’s essential mix back in ’05. Memories. Thanks for posting this.
