AC Slater

It was late August of 2008.  Macgregor had just popped his ipod into my system and turned on what would be a revolutionary song in the way we listened to electronic music. We were about to be rocked by AC Slater‘s remix of “Everday Hustle.” I remember just sitting on my bed, going, “oh my god.. oh my god….” repeatedly.  From there on, AC Slater just dominated my playlists, one of those artists whose name I would type into hypem everyday. His “Samo Ti,” “Turn The Music Up,” “Touch,” “Buzzin,” and “Meddle” remixes still dominate me on the daily.  Just one of those artists.  Here is a recent remix of his that made me all warm inside and nostalgic for the enveloping bass of my room with good pals being rocked to his shit. Delicious AC Slateresque drop.

    hey guys
    fucking loving the blog, probably check it about 7 times a day and i’m never dissapointed. lovin the slater tune. just to say that the datsik vs. downlink ‘fucking money’ is actually koan sounds ‘mafia’. we posted it as that as well and some know-it-all corrected us who unfortunately turned out to be right. my mistake, just to let you know
