make the bitches get down
Producer and MC Oh Snap!! makes the perfect music to get the party moving. Catchy lyrics thrown over a nice bassy/electro beat make these songs accessible for many audiences of diverse tastes. Personally, I’ve been a fan for quite some time, but if I hadn’t been convinced of his legitimacy long ago, these songs would have proven it to me. He’s been locked in the studio for quite some time, but I have a feeling he is about to reap the benefits of his work. His “So Dynamite EP” just came out with Jen Lasher on Onelove in Australia and the rest of the world soon. His “Plus Size Model EP” will come out in December along with his soca EP, “White Bread” on Faluma digital. So there’s no sign of slowing up in his near future! That Plus Sized Model EP is one I’ve had my eye on for quite sometime. Lemme call it right now, the Jakwob remix, once released in full proper quality, will rock everyone…everyone. The second drop!!! Agh, my heart. Anywho, here are his new tracks he sent along for free download. What a guy.
*Biggup Etubbs and Trillbass, but we will not be supporting that song on here :). However, if you felt compelled to show them some support, go here.

Um, yyyyyyyyyyyyyeah.
I liked this better when it was called LMFAO.
Terrible.

I don’t really understand your comment… but if you’re saying that Oh Snap!! sounds like LMFAO, you really don’t have the ear for blog music. Try downloading a little more thoroughly, remaining humble, before you make your almighty judgment.
Oh Snap!! makes the hot electric club choons. LMFAO makes synthy pop songs.
November 18th, 2009 at 14:45You’re right, I should “download more throughly.” I’m thinking I must have only downloaded the part that sounds exactly like LMFAO, from the super wornout samples to the lame vocal cadences.
What isn’t humble about my judgment? I didn’t say I was better–I said this is lame pop music that sounds exactly like other lame pop music.
I’m not the VIPEEEEEEEEEE

You have the right to be annoyed by Oh Snap!!’s sample work. Maybe that’s not your deal. But Oh Snap!! definitely has a unique style. His songs are the satire of the masses because instead of encoding them in fanciful rhetoric he uses a fresh bass line. He makes people laugh and dance, sometimes at the same time. LMFAO doesn’t make me laugh, it’s more focused on the cliche’ “getting girls, partying, and getting fucked up” subject matter but not about their inability to fit into skinny jeans.
November 18th, 2009 at 15:20this guy looks like jared from the subway commercials.
