don’t catch me falling behind
Okay got one of those big posts today, cause I’ve just been overwhelmed with music to talk about here. Here are four tracks and/or artists who have caught my attention lately. This is a big time mixed bag.
This is High Rankin‘s latest tune, and it’s got one of the funniest samples leading to the drop and all the heaviness you might expect from this man at this point. Pretty dirty, the cat noises make me giggle.

And now for some true groovy excellence. Neoteric was featured in a recent remix sunday on the always great Palms Out. I don’t know what else to say about this, big bass and a funny little bleepy horn over some good, catchy lyrics. I love this, but it’s not for everyone. Big fan though for sure. Sort of gave me the same vibe as “Dirty and Hard” by Djedotronic back in the day.
Ward 21 – Give It Up (Neoteric Remix)
Alright, first of all apologies in advance because I couldn’t find the proper information to give this artist a proper post (maybe the editing elves that work behind the scenes can give a hand) because we got this one sent in, I downloaded it, lost the email completely somehow, and the track was only labeled “wigwam.” So here’s some afrobeat, dutchesque tastiness called Wigwam that I dig a lot, haha.
Edit: Four Four indeed is the artist of this track! Hit up that myspace page, big ups man! Keep that jungle fresh sound pumping outta LA!
