Passion Pit are the blog band of the summer, and although they aren’t music’s savior to me, they have some fine tunes and have commissioned great remixes (or people just really like to use their vocals). If one thing is to be said about them, it’s that their melodies are outstanding. Check out this slick rework of “To Kingdom Come” by Grum, filled with blazing synth lines and vocoders as if there’s about to be a revival of electro.
