bouncy jazz is the tits
Okay a growing trend that I am enjoying immensely is the tendency to weave jazzy elements into solid electro dance tracks. ”Love You Madly” by Herve ,under his other alias, The Young Lovers, is awesome. The stuff Gramophonedzie has put out is pretty damn sweet too. And of course Hijack is all over that sound too (check out Trouser Jazz). But this was a surprising release that I wanted to post a while back and it popped up on iPod today and voila. Nadastrom kills it in this electro-b-more-jazz fusion bit of excellence. You better be interested in a fusion of that sort.
Nadastrom – Save us (Original Mix) (128)
Okay and I know every blog and their mother has posted this song, and long ago, but in case you missed it or wanna be reminded:
The Young Lovers – Love You Madly
I hope you’re ready for something really funky and bouncy now. Paul Anthony and ZXX gave this track a good little remix, but I gotta say I’m rather in love with this little tune right here. Jayforce killed it here, “Smashbox” is a biggy. Reminds me of those fun high-pitched sirens from Diplo’s get up remix with a tasty crunchy little bassline to compliment them. Just very danceable.

And I had to throw something disgusting up here today, as it is Sunday. You can try and make the correlation there. DZ never fails me. This isn’t exactly a new track, but I’ve been feeling it lately. Also wanna build a little hype, as there may be a little interview and some exclusives coming up! Stay tuned, and in the meantime, get up to this.
Back Up In This Bitch

Dave Nada and Matt Nordstrom are Nadastrom. They are from Washington, D.C. and they kill it both production-wise and in concert (cue their Fly By Night performance at Debonair two months ago). They just came out with a remix of Designer Drugs‘ track “Back Up In This” and it’s sick. Not like the rest of their stuff, but it is good in its very own way. Booyaka.

P.S. Check out Cold Blank’s remix of the same song here. Just might be even better.
