I wanted to put up some of these big songs today.  I imagine you’ll enjoy them.

2 Bit Thugs never fail to disappoint.  This Dirty Freek remix really tickles my fancy.  Deep wobbly bassline and funky, upbeat buildup that make for an excellent track.  Seriously funky track.

Since MacGregor posted that High Contrast remix of “Flashing Lights,” I’ve definitely been looking for some solid DnB.  This is an awesome take on “Ghosts N Stuff” by the UK’s own Sub Focus.

For all you dub fiends out there, pick this one up.  If you haven’t been listening to Sukh Knight before today, well then consider today a good day and head over to any number of the internet download shops and pick up the rest of the “Cheese Loueez” EP.  It’s a must have.  And if you want to see him out, he’ll be in the UK throughout the fall.

Sukh Knight – Ganja Dub

I really like Ireland’s Schizofonics.  And they went huge on this one.  ”Mega” is an apt name for the original…this deserves double mega status…or something… No, seriously though, big song, FIDGETY.   The Schizofonics are two Irish dudes who like to bring a full performance to the stage when they DJ, so if you ever see them live, expect crazy visual displays and lights to accompany a wild club/electro set.

Greetings all!  Up for you today, the Irish duo Schizofonics!  These guys sent along some songs and promotional information the other day, and I got really excited.  Their music simply cannot be placed in a single genre.  I would certainly call it club music, but their songs change from club to electro to fidget continuously.  Whatever genre, they are excellent!  I first got interested when I heard their remix of the Dance Area song “AA 24/7″ (included below), which I love unconditionally.  This DJ duo is known not only for spinning a sick set, but also for amazing visuals; they have videos to accompany any song they play, making for a wild show. They continued to impress me when I dug a little deeper.  Their remix of Rapture by DatA is quite good.  But have a listen for yourself.  Check out their blog for contact info and what not!
